West Oxfordshire District Council NEWS RELEASE Preparing for possible waste and recycling collection delays due to adverse weather

Current weather forecasts show that the bitterly cold spell is set to continue until the end of this week, with a strong likelihood of snow on Thursday or Friday.
So far waste and recycling collections have not been disrupted, but it is possible that crews might not be able to empty some green garden waste bins if the contents are frozen.
The Council’s waste contractor, Ubico Ltd, is monitoring weather conditions and should the weather result in any disruptions to collections, residents should leave their waste and recycling at the kerbside and crews will try to pick them up as soon as practicable.
