A little bit more about Helen Payne Music…

Helen has played piano since she was 7 years old.  She became an Associate of the London College of Music at the age of 16. Having kept her music as a hobby in her twenties and thirties, Helen decided to move into teaching after her daughter was born. She loves sharing her interest in music with her students, using experience gained in performing with orchestras (most recently with the Banbury Symphony Orchestra & Banbury Strings). She teaches in several primary schools and the NOA secondary school in Banbury and enjoys accompanying students for exams. Helen also loves playing for the residents of Agnes Court & Green Pastures Nursing Home.

Helen has been providing piano lessons in the Town Hall from 2023, and we are delighted to be able to work with Helen to provide free tuition to benefit a young person in our community.

Helen comes highly recommended, and we would love to share some of the testimonials for the work that Helen has achieved with her pupils.

To whom it may concern,

Helen Payne has been teaching my daughter piano over the last four years. She is a gentle and encouraging teacher.

My daughter has particularly enjoyed the duets that Helen has organised for her.

Helen also organised a session where each of her pupils played something which was enjoyed by everyone.

We can highly recommend her.

Best regards

Erika and Freda

Helen has taught piano to our daughter for around 2 years. She has grown in confidence in reading and playing music. And has been really inspired by Helen’s teaching! Carmen.

I have the utmost admiration and gratitude for Helen teaching my son Noah piano lessons.

Under Helen’s guidance. Noah has developed a strong foundation for the piano and a genuine passion for music.

Furthermore, Helen’s patience and encouragement creates a positive learning environment. Noah looks forward to his piano lessons under Helens guidance.

I whole heartedly recommend Helen as a piano teacher. Her expertise, passion and commitment to teaching music are valuable assets to any aspiring musicians education.
