Please be aware the strong winds have caused branches to weaken and fall. We have therefore taken the decision to close the recreation ground until we can be sure that the area is safe. If you have teenagers out tonight, please ensure they are aware of the danger and ask them to keep away from New Street Recreation ground. The area has been cordoned off and WODC have been made aware.
